.. the story of my trip to Europe.
I already explained you why I couldn’t travel abroad yet. And now I’ll tell you what I’m thinking of doing there.
First of all, I’m spending two months and a half with my girl… the sweetest woman you can find on this world. Then I will be learning German, which will be very good for my job; and, of course, travelling! That’s what all is about :)
What about spending two exciting months in Berlin? A city with so much history, art, and a great night life??
The trips will be to the north, to visit my girlfriend’s father… in a small town called Neumünster, close to the North Sea and to the Danish border, and I’m really looking forward to it. Then, to the south… the Black Forrest, for a few hikes and camping [I've been told I chose a very good time to visit Germany ;o) ]. And to Viena, Austria… to visit a very nice guy who was my passenger for three days in Salta. Günter… I still remember you offered me a well filled fridge and a wine cellar :o). That kind of promises are VERY hard to forget.
Almost at the end of my trip we will fly to Madrid, to visit some relatives… who I’ve never seen. They are descendants of my great grand father’s brothers and sisters.
After a few days, my girlfriend and I will travel to Barcelona, to visit some friends of hers.
And then, on August the 16Th, I will fly back home… back to work. Actually, very happy… because I have to go to Mendoza - an amazing city by the way, but not more than Salta ;o) - to pick up three Belgian people. We will come up north, to Salta, bordering the Andes. 15 days I guess, I don’t have the itinerary yet, and more than 2500 km! Hell of a trip
This is something I do, not very often… but I love doing it, driving for many days, across… nowhere. But this is something I will tell you on my next post :o)
