The tourism in the Argentinian Northwest is growing at an unthinkable speed. Everyday there’s a new hotel opening the doors to host hundreds of tourists from everywhere around the world.
You already know that there are as different interests as people on this planet, so that’s why you can choose between a big variety of hotels. But the most popular ones, are the “boutique hotels”; small, warm, but delightedly designed and decorated.

The trend is to design not thinking just in the hotel itself, but also looking at the place around. So every detail interacts with the landscape, the traditional architecture… in perfect balance
The point of this blog is to tell experiences of my trips, so far I write nothing like that. But I think is much better to picture you the place where I work and the commodities it offers. Anyway… gettin’ there :)

Wow, this hotel looks great! Is there a website of the place?

Sorry for taking so long to answer back Günter.
These pictures belong to two different hotels.
The pictures of the garden belong to a Hotel in Cafayate (Sout of Salta Province) called “Kalcha Quilla”, a very nice boutique hotel, very well decorated. The website is http://www.killacafayate.com.ar/.
The pictures of the rooms are from a hotel in Tilcara (North of Jujuy Province, in Quebrada de Humahuaca, UNESCO World Heritage Site since July 2003) called El Canto del Viento, which doesn’t have a website.
Anyway… I’ll try to post a research of the hotel offer in this region very soon
